We often use our phone to capture memories while traveling, but this can take us out of the moment. Our challenge was to help people enjoy the present while still creating meaningful, revisit-able memories—with less reliance on their phones.

The final outcome is an integrated digital and physical design.

• Digital Design: An Apple ecosystem feature that guides tourists to take videos with TapCam and learn about sites by tapping TapTile.

  
  

• Physical Design: On-site TapCams for recoding videos and TapTiles for collecting sites' information.
